“My Dear Future” Parent-Child Drawing Competition

CTF Education Group (CTFEG) and Victoria Educational Organisation (VEO) strive to empower children to dream BIG without reservations – to imagine a future without boundaries or limitations. Through “My Dear Future”, a new theme for CTFEG and VEO, we turned to our students for their inspirations and hopes for the future.

We would now like to invite you and your children to join them in dreaming big! Through our upcoming “VEOPTA My Dear Future Parent-Child Drawing Competition”, we hope to continue the ripple effect of inspiration so it spreads even further!

Eligibility: VEO K2 – K3 students and parents – limited one entry per child; PTA members only.

Theme: My Dear Future
• Students share their dreams for the future.
• Help your child brainstorm by asking questions like: What do you want to become when you grow up? The sky’s the limit!

Requirements:
• Artwork should be completed by the child with his/her parents, using any 2D drawing medium, on a sheet of A4-sized white paper (portrait orientation).
• The artwork should be scanned and uploaded, together with the explanation of student’s Future Dream.
• Please ensure that the resolution of the submitted artwork is high enough to be clear and legible.
You may submit the file in JPEG format, no smaller than 1MB and no larger than 3MB.
• Retain the original artwork until the results are announced. The artwork of the selected entry will be collected by the class teacher! Please do not fold the artwork.

Fee: Free for members.

Registration:

Step 1) Register your child at VEO website. Each child should be registered separately.
Step 2) Name the file using your child’s campus, class and name (e.g. BV K2A1am Adrian Chan). Upload the scanned copy of the artwork (JPEG 1-3MB) through Jotform.

Submission Deadline: By 4 PM on Monday, 17 April 2023

Selection Panel:
• Mrs. Jennifer Yu Cheng – Supervisor, VEO
• Dr. Richard Wong – Academic Advisor of VEO

Selection Criteria:

• Artwork will be selected based on creativity and clarity of explanation of the dream.
• Two submissions will be selected and used as the new design blueprint for the “My Dear Future” IG filter. The new IG filters will be uploaded to CTFEG and VEO’s social media pages, and websites. The judges’ decisions are final. See CTFEG IG filter for “My Dear Future” for reference.
• All participants will receive a certificate.
• The winners will be announced through social media platforms on or before Friday, 28 April 2023.
