Every classroom presents a unique community of learners that varies not only in abilities but also in learning styles.  Thus, having a balanced programme is very important.  Other than VEO Language and Literacy Programme, Maker-Centered Learning can also be taught through inquiry.  Students’ well-being in social and emotional learning is crucial to their development.  At VEO, we provide a comprehensive curriculum and learning environment for early years that lead our students to be lifelong learners with global perspective.

After 20 years of working in Early Years Education, I have learnt to appreciate the importance of inquiry-based learning for children. Each child is born an inquirer, and it is the teacher’s responsibility to develop their eagerness to learn, and to provide an appropriate learning environment for them to inquire, learn, and be creative.

Children have unlimited development potential. Through inquiry-based learning, they build their knowledge base and develop thinking skills and creativity while applying their learning. At VEO, we focus on expanding and enriching children’s perspectives on the world and on learning! We want our learners to come away knowing how to communicate and how to cooperate with others, to evolve into compassionate lifelong learners!
