Our K3 children recently embarked on a wonderful adventure to the Hong Kong Wetland Park, bringing their current transdisciplinary theme, “Sharing the Planet,” to life.
Their journey began in the classroom with a lively discussion. Teachers and students explored the unique animals and environment of the wetlands, and the children were encouraged to ask all their curious questions. They thoughtfully recorded these in a letter for the Wetland Park guides.
The subsequent field trip was a hands on process of discovery and verification. The children explored the wetland environment in depth, found answers to their questions, and carefully recorded their observations in their activity booklets. It was a fantastic way to connect classroom curiosity with real world learning.
