Carol Singing for Elderlies & Food Charity Drive 2025-2026 (BV)

Showing “care and compassion for others” is a central value in our IB curriculum. This December, our students from across the school put this concept into action by joining a special food donation campaign.

The children and their families generously contributed a wide variety of food items, which they then personally sorted and organised into donation boxes. Student representatives took great care to pack everything and deliver the boxes to St. Barnabas’ Society and Home, a local non-profit organisation in the Western District, where they will support people in need and the homeless.

To spread some festive cheer, our younger students also prepared a charming Christmas carol performance. With their pure and joyful voices, they shared the warmth of the season with the elderly and residents at the home.

This initiative was a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn the value of helping others through direct action, truly embodying what it means to be an empathetic and compassionate IB learner.
