Qualification of Teachers

 

All our teaching staff have received professional teacher training and are either qualified kindergarten teachers or registered childcare workers, 31% of whom are native English speakers recruited from overseas. In addition to being qualified teachers, most of them are also university graduates.

All Putonghua teachers of our organization have obtained Grade B or above in Levels 1 and 2 of the Putonghua Proficiency Test conducted by the State Language Commission. Moreover, all our Putonghua class teachers have obtained professional teacher training and have had years of experience in teaching children.

Professional Caretakers
All our campuses have registered nurses who are responsible for taking care of our childen’s health and carrying out simple hand and mouth checks for our children each day.

Professional Training
Striving to meet our goals of excellence in education, we not only encourage our teachers to participate in various professional training programmes at School, we also organize on an annual basis various seminars and workshops conducted by professional early childhood educators from overseas or Mainland China for our teachers to widen their knowledge in education. Through experiencing different teaching approaches, our teachers are encouraged to conduct a self-reflection on their teaching quality and develop new teaching methods. The topics include: IB teaching, children’s drama, operational mathematics teaching , total language teaching and effective arts teaching etc.. In addition, we send our administration staff or teaching staff to attend various international conferences and study tours every year. For instance, attending the NAEYC Annual Conference & Expo, the "Reggio Emilia Approach" Sharing Meeting and Workshop and visiting various IB schools, etc.
