Seminar - Enhancing Children’s Art Development
This year, our school has received funding from the QEF to implement a series of art activities for teachers and parents to help children further explore their creativity and artistic sense.
On 25 November 2011, the Lower Kornhill campus organised an activity called “Seminar - Enhancing Children’s Art Development’. The founder of “Creative Kids”, Mrs. Tsui, addressed parents on the importance of arts in children’s growth and some methods to enhance children’s creative thinking.
The seminar was very successful and all participants agreed the night was extremely valuable. There were many opportunities to ask questions and discuss the process of how children learn. Parents in attendance commented on the new knowledge and skills they had gained through the sharing of ideas with both Mrs Tsui and each other.
