In mid-May, our K1 class enjoyed a “Star Ferry Adventure,” starting from Central Pier. During the ferry ride, children discussed marine food resources with their parents, learning about fish, shellfish, and the importance of water conservation.
In small groups, they photographed various modes of transportation around the piers and documented the beautiful landscapes along Victoria Harbour.
The trip also included a visit to the Hong Kong Museum of Art’s tableware exhibition, where students explored the shapes and patterns of plates, bowls, and tea cups, experiencing the connection between food and art. This adventure provided our K1 learners with a deeper appreciation for their environment and culture!
