Dear Parents,
Victoria Education Organisation Parent Teacher Association (“VEOPTA”) is organising “Talent Show 2022”. Your children will get the chance to show us their amazing talents and see the winning performances in the VEO Home app!
Please see the following instructions and guidelines for your children to participate in the talent show:
Eligibility: All VEO students (PN-K3); each student and their siblings can submit the same video OR upload a separate video, one entry per student.
Enrolment period: 10am, 1st April 2022 to 5pm, 6th May 2022.
Enrolment method: Please enrol and pay online (if applicable) via PTA website at https://www.victoria.edu.hk/en/pta-events.php
Submission method: Upload the video to YouTube, and submit the link to the video upon enrolment.
See the annex to this letter for the guidelines for uploading videos to YouTube.
Format of video: Digital video of not more than three minutes in duration.
Content: Students may display any talents that are school-appropriate. Parents and family members are welcome to take part in the performance!
Entry fee: PTA member – free of charge; non-PTA member – HK$50 per student.
Judging panel: Each campus principal, teacher and parent committee members of PTA.
Announcement of results: Different categories of awards will be created, such as Best Parent-Child Cooperation Award, Best Performance Award, Best Creativity Award, etc. Results will be announced in early-June 2022. Award-winning videos will be shared in the VEO Home app and via emails to parents. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
General information:
1. You will receive an instant confirmation email after successful registration. Please note that there will be no refund once your registration is confirmed. If you have any questions, please contact us via email at ptaoffc@victoria.edu.hk.
2. If you would like to join the PTA and enjoy member’s benefits in our activities, you may apply or renew your PTA membership as well as process e-payment via our website (https://www.victoria.edu.hk/en/pta-recruitment.php) at the same time. Membership will be effective immediately.
