Victoria Educational Organisation supported "One Mask. One Heart" initiative to help those in need and teach the value of kindness and giving
Victoria Educational Organisation is grateful to take part in the “One Mask. One Heart” initiative launched by our parent group - CTF Education Group with the aim to spread love and positivity in the community.
Under the “One Mask. One Heart” initiative, staff and parents from VEO as well as their friends were welcome to voluntarily donate new masks and hand sanitizers.
We are thankful to have received very positive feedback. Over 7,800 masks and sanitizing products were collected over two weeks. Donations were collected during the school suspension period and we are extremely grateful donors made the special effort to drop off their donations at our school campuses.
The impact of donating one mask or one hand sanitizer might seem small, but we truly believe every little help counts and will be appreciated by many. After quality check, the repackaged “Masks and Sanitizing Kits” were distributed to underprivileged children and families by BGCA from 6 March 2020 to 20 March 2020.
What’s more encouraging is that we are very touched by the numerous caring messages and drawings made together by parents and our kindergarten students. Other than spreading positivity in the community, we hope to teach children love, kindness, and the importance of sharing and giving to help our community. We also hope to inspire more organizations to help the community in any format. Collaboration is key for us all to face challenges together.
